hey tell me what you all think of my 1989 kx250 rebuild / partial restoration
i will have 3 vids, 1 is how it was when i got it. 2 is when i put a new pipes on , carb jetted, new piston. PART 3 is after the total rebuild . you can clearly see and hear the difference

Looks good, your tank is in good condition, have you done anything to it? You guys over there got the good forks that year, in the UK, we got the upside downers and they were pretty poor. Overall very nice job, well done.

what was wrong with the upside down forks? i think they look cool
. BTW i am 14 and that bike is a product of my own work and money too

I agree with you on the forks. My '89 had a great front end, gave me all the confidence a mullet headed 20yr. old needed to crash harder than ever. :-D Here is a pic of mine back in '90 or '91.

how much did it cost for this bike back then?
