Hi all. Just wondering if anyone on this site has done business with a place called Motofit Motorsports in Danbury, CT? Any input would be greatly appreciated. ted

I'm on the other end of the country but a quick google search revealed the following.

Does this mean they are bad?
Not necessarily.
You really need both sides of the story to make that determination.
Being in business for many years I can tell you that no matter how hard you try you can't make everyone happy.
I had a customer Flame me on the internet because I didn't make him an offer for his bike.
So, take those complaints with a grain of salt.

Thanks for the response. Yeah there is always more than one side to a story, so I certainly won't judge them based on those few posts. I put down $500 on a 2011 ktm300xc yesterday and plan to wire the remainder tomorrow. So far I have no reason not to trust the place, but when your talking over $8,000 it makes me slightly nervous - They will have all the money and I will not have the bike. I couldn't find the bike locally. That was the only place that I could find one nationally. I have never bought a bike that I didn't pick up in person. thanks, ted

With that amount down and the total price,,,, what is wrong with COD?

did you check to see if you local ktm dealer would do a bike transfer.

Thanks kawride, didn't even consider that.

Sure there are two sides to every story but no one just forgets to refund a $3800 deposit. I would avoid them ....
