Title: hello! Bonjour!
Post by: Froggy on October 17, 2010, 12:15:36 AM
Hello everybody, My name's Bruno (Froggy here) I'm 23, I come from the west coast of France. I ride motocross for 4 years, the first year on a 2003 kx125 then on a 2008 ktm sx125. 5 months ago, I bought a 1993 Kx500 supermoto modified and road approved (is "approved" the correct word?). I tried it but it had no more power than my 125cc until I couldn't start the engine... :| Then I decided to dismantle the engine and all the parts tof the bike. That's why I registered myself here to get some tips to rebuilt my kx500.
PS: please excuse me if I make lots of mistakes when I write and don't be afraid to correct me

Glad to have you with us.  Please let us know how we can help.  You are in for a real surprise when you get the engine rebuilt !  How about some pictures?  I would like to see your reaction first ride after re-build of engine....

Welcome Bruno.  Yes, "Approved" is the correct word.  Many say "Street legal" on this side of the pond.

Best of luck with the K5, you'll be very impressed once she's running properly.

  Bon chance....
