Title: Powder Coating
Post by: bigborefan on April 16, 2004, 02:31:47 AM
Does anyone know of a company who can powder coat a frame and match the OEM KX Green. I have had two frames coated but I have never had a good match.

These guys are pretty good - made my frame look better than new, and it was the correct color also  :) , but they are here in Arizona.

What kind of money does powder coating cost.  I thought about doing it my frame but couldn't find anyone in the area that does it.

http://www.caswellplating.com/powder/powder_coat.htm $95.00
I stripped my frame down to the metal.

In NY they want almost 800 bucks to paint this frame correctly. F that!
I'm buying this system for powdercoating in the am.

I will post pics and results of the product. for 100 bucks plus paint I'll do it myself.
