Title: what size is your 500SM rear rim?
Post by: kwakman on October 05, 2010, 04:02:51 AM
looking at sm rims, was wondering whether 4.25 or 5.00 is the easiest to get between the relatively narrow swinger.Anyone know if the 5.00 fits? Thanx, K.

I run a 4.25 on my drag bike and wouldnt go any wider than that IMO.

4.25 here w a 150/60 tire. i have to use a chain block to keep the chain from tearing up the tire.

I am going old school and using a 3.5 x19 and mounting dirt-track tires.  Building a vintage "superbikers" model.
