Hey JB what bike was complete hopefully it is the 250F anything that bolt to it use it will make your build easier and see you have the old cradle in your new frame the top of the cradle looks strong enough but did you just butt weld the bottom. If it was me i would find a piece of tube off your 89 frame that will fit around where its butt welded about 2 1/2 in. long or so and split it and center it and form it around the bottom of the cradle and weld it across the the tube not around this will make a nice gusset you also could use a narrower piece on the top of the tube
Well have fun and good luck JM

Thanks JM! Good advice!, The frame is reinforced well .... but I will study!. On Wednesday I will paint the frame (with polyurethane paint).... i will put more photos later so! Thanks for your help guys!!!!!

Nice Job, dont know if this helps but here in the USA that motor is a 1993 or newer model as it has the new style power valve & they came with different Kickstart levers than the 89 models & hugged the exhaust pipe alot closer and should fit underneath the frame.

Ah!, engine modifications: KX250 04 rads, KX250 93 cylinder, kx250 02 carb, kx250 02 trans (addapted into a kx250 89 bottom). Vforce3, Wiseco Piston and Rod, etc.
-
was it hard to put all that stuff in the 89 bottom end?
and that bike is a beaut :-o
-
It was a bit complicated, but is much better. The gears are wider! (so, the forks and drum). ... had to be turning ... also put the cylinder head model 99. Here, the pics:

Great Work J.B. what a sweetheart!... How many different year parts did you use on this project?
Hey J.B. I think you need to change your name to Moto Majica!
Do you do all your own machine work? Just another testament to the talent and workmanship from guys on the site. Thank you for sharing the photo's J.B.
