Title: KX5hundy rebirth!
Post by: FPMXer on August 28, 2010, 03:57:57 AM
Now it's gonna be a titled 93' KX500. Engine's mounted, front end and rear end. About 1/3 the way done until first kick! The new steel motor mounts my neighbor made me at work!

Looks like a solid 93 you got there. Any titled KX500 is a great one...
Gotta ask though, why the steel mounts ? seems like adding weight and transmitting more vibes

Cause the aluminum ones are both roached. The one posted is cracked and the other was completely broken. It did vibrate good today but then again it was sitting on a stand. The newer swing arm decided to snap one of the adjuster bolts off today. So Tomorrow I'll take care of that and she's done. She fired right up and sounded great. Can't wait to get to the track and dig some trenches!
