Title: Arizona desert rider
Post by: greenstreak on July 11, 2010, 04:11:34 PM
I have been riding desert for a real long time.  I ride both 2 and 4 wheels.  Just got a 2003 KX500 and have some  adjustments to do.  I also have  KLX300 that has been heavily modded.  Another big bore that I own is a Husqvarna XC500.  On 4 wheels I ride a 2004 Raptor.  I have owned a lot of bikes through the years and have worked on every single one of them.  I want to find out as much info as I can about the KX500 so I can keep it in good shape and modify to suit me better.  Glad to be here.

Welcome!

This is the place to be for KX500 info and help.

I stumbled on this website a few months ago and made it one of my daily stops.   Tons of info and good people!

Hey Green,
Welcome to Kx 5 central... :-D  Well.. kind of.. You would be surprised at all the stuff I picked up working my way
Backwards through the 500 thread. I haven't been able to get through all 140 pages but I'm working on it!
Please feel free to jump in with any other stuff you have picked up along your years of Desert Ratting!
Glad to have you with us.

Hey, Im a AZ desert rider , and a forum newbie. I ride a lot of four peaks and sycamore creek. I have been wanting to venture more north since the summer heat is killer. Not sure if you have rode from 4 peaks parking lot, to Saguaro lake coves. Its a great ride for the summer months, cause you can jump off some cliffs and swim around and cool off, then rail the sandy burm wash back. PM me and maybe we can meet up and create Kawasaki Devistation in the desert haha.
