just a quick hello been into bikes 35 out of my 40 yrs had my 01 kx for about 6mths great fun to ride
also have an 01 xr650  83 it 490  82 it465 78 xt 500
try and ride most weekends but u know wot its like work and kids make it hard
really looking forward to reading the info in this forum
hope i can be a contributing member and have some useful information

 Welcome to the mele'
You are in good company, kids, bikes, work, work on bikes ,and repeat..  Please jump in anywhere you see fit.
   This is all in all a good bunch.  I'm sure you've picked up a few tips and tricks along the way don't be shy.
Where about are you and what kind of riding is around your place?
   There have been a few guys getting together for rides and it would be great to see more of that.

Welcome! The problem is that it's easy to get stuck in front of the pc just reading all topics..

im from Australia      South Australia to be more accurate
as for the terrain theres tight wooded trails   hard pack sand    beach sand     rocks    hills

you can ride for 3 days and not go over the same stuff twice

a bit dusty now   a real lack of rain

havnt had a decent rain for about 7yrs    fingers crossed we get some this time
