Title: kx65 head
Post by: chap on March 31, 2010, 05:25:30 AM
I am curious as to what the bolt at the top of the head is for. There are the four head bolts then there is a 5th bolt with a philips screw tread in the middle. What is that for and does it have to come out to het the head off of the cylinder.Dont pounce on me for asking a stupid question i am new to this.Is there a free download for a service manual on line for this 2003kx65.I would appreciate any input.

 Chap,
I believe your refering to the airbleed.   It's there to bleed the air out of the top of the cyl. when you've drained and refilled the coolant.   I don't know of any no cost manuals on line, however that doesn't mean they're not out there!
