 Welcome 500 4,
There has been quite a few new guys, bringing back some '80s vintage bikes the last couple of months.   Hopefully some of them will chime in on where and what is still available.  It's surprising what some folks have found treasure hunting.  Glad to have you with us.

Welcome to the site. Just thought I'd let you know I just recently rebuilt a 85 KX500. Parts are really hard to find for that year. After I got it finished I sold it. The 87 isn't as bad but it is getting harder. I have an 87 and a 93. If you need help finding any parts let me know and I will see what I can find in my area. I spend a lot of time on ebay looking for spare parts as well. I have a few junk yards nearby I can look in as well. Possibly going this weekend.
Cheers
Goat

I've been researching which bits from the later models fit the earlier bikes when spares are unavailable for the last 4ish years and there isnt a lot you cant get if you know where to look.Gizza shout when the time comes...K.
