it was a pleasure meeting you. thanks for letting my snap a few pics of your ride, everyone ive shown them to is left drooling.
best comment ever was "you drove all the way down here just to ride?!?!?!?"
would have loved to get another couple hours of riding in but we had to get home. and we did at 1:30 wednesday morning.

this was my weapon of choice for the trip, it served me well, only a couple broken spokes and a leaky fork seal. i almost feel bad for not riding it any more then i did this year but i put it through its paces in the 3 days i rode it down south.
it still needs a bath though

razornpc It was good to meet you also. I was thinking about you guys today. It was mud fest out at Draper (Crosstimbers Riding Area). We had a good time. My friend was on his CRF450. I got ahead of him so I slowed so he could catch up. I finely stopped and killed the bike. He had fallen down in the 3rd big mud crossing. It's like he has to get his fall down out of the way early. The green trail was the only one open because of all the snow and rain. Most times they close the whole riding area when it's wet. I've never ridden when it was this wet at Crosstimbers.
One cool thing I noticed, about half of all the bikes out there today were 2 strokes. Ktm's, Kawi's, a few Yamaha's and I saw one 250 Suzuki. After I saw your post I had to take the camera to show you guys I do ride that AF bike. It cleans up well. It took 8 bucks in quarters and a half hour it get it clean today. Next time you guys come to Oklahoma City give me a heads up a few days before you leave. I'll break out the grill and we can do burgers.

Here we are hamming it up for the camera.

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!
I finally washed my bike off!
now to rebuild the forks, replace the brakes and relace my rear wheel. wish it wasnt so cold up here or wish i had a heated garage. is it feasable to bring the bike in and do an over haul in the living room?

also, there is talk of heading back down that way in a couple weeks if the weather is nice enough.
you guys still have snow all over? everyone up here is sick of looking at the white stuff and in serious need of seeing prof there is still some dirt underneithe all of it.

It was 65 the day I took the pictures. Rain moving in the next few days.
All the snow melted that day. I just called the hot line, black, blue and red trails
are closed. Green trail and the grass track are open.
Let me know if you guys are driving down.
