Title: KX85/100 Clutch & KIPS check
Post by: Sapper on December 20, 2009, 01:09:44 PM
**NOTE
I am not responsible for your lack of abilities or tools to do the job correctly.

This is done on an 06 KX100 and is applicable to an 98-09 KX85 as well, except that the pre-06 doesn't have the reverse thread nut on the crank. Many things apply to any other KX w/ KIPS.

My son and I worked on this for a week to get it right for everyone to understand.

After draining the trans and coolant, the following steps are taken to inspect your clutch and KIPS.
