-
Hey man! Im the guy with the nitrous CR, that KX of yours is a screamer!!
I just wish my bike wasnt such a piece of s**t all weekend and we'd have had some better runs.
Its now gonna be parked for a month or so for a re-ring and replace the gears in the tranny.
Haw was the party at your camp after you left ours?
-
We had a great time  I was hopeing to look you up again so we could get that race on with a fresh bottle but I stayed up to late and didn't get out of bed early enough :-( sorry didn't mean to stand you up. Thanks for the props on my bike :-) Your bikes pretty bad ass also, I love the extended swingarm and the nitro bottle on the front fender . I was was just talking s**t about there not being any fast bikes at the hill anymore but you guys proved me wrong 8-) thanks for the raceing and the hospitality at your camp.

Not a problem, its always a dune thing to meet new peeps with cool toys :-D

No power valves don't mean slow,it just means no low. lol :-D I'm not sure about the kid that crashed. I have never seen someone crash up the hill like that. We were haulling ass when he started cart wheeling. He was either in the top of third or the bottom of fourth when it happend.

Nice bike. How is the NOS handled? Maybe a close up? JFAB
-
. How is the NOS handled?
Its a wet kit with a fuel pump int the airbox and the solenoids mounted up by the rad, the fogger nozzle is located in the intake boot, theres a tethered arm switch that powers the pump and arms a switch mounted inside the throttle.
Ive got pics of the build but dint want to cluttler the thread lol
-
I built this as a gag. Post your pics, please.

I was going mount the nozzle just like you did in the pic but it would hang out to far.
Ill get some pics up now....

I ended up adding a second petcock as fueling from a T was becoming an issue..

always wondered how a 2 stroke would handle nitrous, sick
-
It cracks the intake side of pistons and keeping the bottle pressure around 1000-1100psi is a PITA but when its singing its fukin awsome :-D
-
might want to try lighting coil/ bottle heater combo.
i wonder if its the lower temp on the intake charge that's helping it crack
-
The bottle heaters suck some serious ampage and without a completly different ignition the only lighting coil that fits under the stock flywheel is 35w.
Its definatly the juice hitting the side of the piston that causes the cracking.

you ever thought about getting the skirt thermal coated, if you order 20 pistons from wiesco they will custom make, get a thicker skirt
-
What size jets do you run. Does that puls pump ever give you issues?
-
The coldfusion (not recommended, their solenoids suck) kit comes with jets that go from 17 horse to 50 horse. Ive been running the 50 the last few trips but its been hard to get dialed.
The pulse pump has been stone cold reliable, Ive got an NOS regular style pump but havent needed to try it.

If I was still making decent money that would be an option but the econamy has killed me :(

That's a gag? I thought it was the best use of a carb spacer I've ever seen.
