Title: Float height
Post by: kiro29 on February 07, 2004, 06:06:16 AM
Hi,

I'm a litlle confuse, float height is the full movement of the float (from empty bowl until the valve pin closes) or it's the gap between the float and the valve pin when the bowl is full until it starts to fill again???

Thanks

Miguel

If you hold the carb upside down.  Its the measurment from the top of the float to the lip where the bowl attaches.  15-16mm

Balance the needle so it just starts to seat, and measure the carb body(as Kawdude wrote where bowl attaches to the carb body)to the bowl arm(seam in float).

Thanks mikesmith your response sounded more organized than mine.  Check out this link it describes what needs to be done.
