Post by: SCKawi500 on November 11, 2009, 11:24:02 AM
Hi to all, my name is Stacy live here in Hachie, TX, I have a 96 KX 500, when I purchased the bike a little over a year ago i stared looking on the net for places to ride and forums to help keep this monster running good, this site has been very helpful, thanks to Doortie and all that helped him with the top end overhaul list, very helpful, I had Eric Gorr do the head mods and porting (This was before I knew of Stewart) Some of you guys are very knowlegable with these bike I am glad to have found this site. Do any of you guys over ride @ Red River Motorcycle Trail in Bulcher,TX. I go there as much as I can. Very challenging but fun place to ride.

Thanks again to all who keep this site running

                                                                                              Stacy

  Welcome Stace,
It would be nice to be able to catch up with some of the other guys on the site and compare notes.  There are probably more than a few of us who would be interested in what E.G. did
compared to what the guys have done here as far as head and cyl mods.
One thing I have noticed here more than anywhere else is a willingness to share info and
 learn from each other.

I've never been to red river, but I'll drag the wife up there and check it out.

Check out there web site, there is about 3500 acres to ride in, this is the place they have the Red Bull last man standing ride at. I have been there about 15 times and still finding more trails. it's worth the trip, you can also camp there to.

I totally did.  It is at http://www.redrivermotorcycletrails.com/ , for anyone who is interested.  I will definitely pull the pop up there for a long weekend.  Maybe even new years.  It looks pretty fun.
