i just joined this site hoping to learn a few tricks to make my kx 500 run better.i bought my bike last year it is a 2003 kx 500 with low hours it has a fmf pipe i put a clutch in it because i wanted steel plates i also put graphics on it and i changed the bars and the reeds it runs dreat but i do not find this bike to pull wheelies in every gear i also have put a oring chain and i am up one tooth on the front sprocket i ran it on the gps at 91 miles an hour

Welcome aboard Bruce! I think you will find quite a few K5 enthusiasts here. After you get your 10 post, you can then post some pictures of your new ride :-D

 Welcome Bruce,
 There is lot's of stuff to sift through.
  One of the first questions is usually is the Kips valve operating properly,
(You've already addressed reeds), jetting,fuel/oil ratio etc. Several of us have gotten "lo Hours" bikes and ended up going through the same scenario you are.   Have patience Grass Hoppa...
