Hi,
I'm restoring my 1987 KX500 that I've owned since it was new. It's extremely clean, and I'm making good progress. Does anyone know where to find original or at least original looking graphics?
Thank you!

A few year's ago when I restored my 87 500 I had a heck of time finding O.E.M. I found a good photo of the 87 model factory bike and took my shrouds and photo to a decal shop and they made me the shroud decals that matched O.E.M. I also changed the factory color to black/yellow for a new look.

Thanks for the tips so far. I had ordered the graphics through bike bandit last month. It appeared that they had everything in stock, but I received a call a couple days after I placed the order that all of the 1987 KX500 graphics have been discontinued. I'll check out a graphics company and see what they'll reproduce them for.
Thanks again,
JG

That's a sweet looking bike Hughes, I've got the same one and I'm finally going to restore it this winter and I can't wait to start the project.

With the black and yellow theme I wish I had a picture with the stock tank on it. That desert tank was ugly. I restored and rode that bike every weekend that I could. That black and yellow theme picture was taken about a year after full restore. I wish I still had the bike
