Title: KX 450f suspension help
Post by: azracer19 on September 18, 2009, 04:51:38 AM
After riding the KX 450 f i decided to fine tune the fork adjusters.... the left upper screw turns both wats but dosent actually move, it will click atleast 40 times in or out,,whats wrong what part do I need.. thanks for your help...also after blasting the desert for a few hourts on the 450 then having the adjusters not work I jumped back on the 500.....the 450 is real nice but it sure lacks far behind the 500 in the open desert.... I thought of just keeping both bikes but everyday i seem to lean towards the conversion. Decissions deccisions deccisions atleast we have em right?

not sure what the upper left screw you were talking about, I went out and looked at mine. I'm pretty sure the screw your talking about is the fork bleeder screw, the compression adjuster is in the center and the rebound is at the bottom. If you have an adjuster at the upper left, you have some aftermarket valve bodies.  If your not convinced take a picture of your fork caps and I can tell you for sure
