Well seems my gearbox is locked in 2 gears at once. It now when the clutch is engaged, will just die. I had it on the stand and revved it up once or twice, and the last time it jumped into gear then died. Any thoughts?

Could be the gear seized on the shaft like happened to mine. I lost neutral. Also had an issue with a screw coming out of an aftermarket clutch basket that backed out until it jammed it up. Another time i had the little spring come off that works the shifter. You have to pull the clutch and see if the mechanism is working right, first. it could be easy to fix, worst case is you will have to split the cases.
Will it go when you let out the clutch or does it die?

What kind of trans oil were you running? Curious if it follows the recent trend of tranny problems
-
What oil is it that you are thinking may be causing problems ?. atf perhaps ?

It dies when clutch let out. I use Castrol GTX 10w-30.

Do you have an aftermarket basket with the little allen screws? I learned they needed peened in addition to the required loctite, after I had one back out. Maybe something else in the big gear jamming it up.

Not sure, I've never had the cover off.

Well I found it... A gear seized up on the mainshaft. I've heard this has happened to others before.
Anyone have a lead on parts??? Bikebandit has them for 220 for both.

Service Honda now sells parts for just about anything,Weather it's through another dealership or not I'm not sure. You have to actually put your parts in your "basket " to see the discounted price.
http://www.servicehonda.com/ (Service Honda is A.J. Waggoners Employ)
Motosport http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/oem.php (110% price Guarantee)
Thumpertalk also has a store that now sell just about anything. (I know.... :x)
These have been the least expensive oem parts suppliers I have found.
I hear there's a shop out in Joplin who may have some spares,

If you're an AMA member, Bikebandit gives a discount. I've used it more than a few times.
