As long as the bearing is intact, rod is straight and the crank is true there should be no issues.  That damage is interresting - what caused it.  Cam.

i don't know what caused it. i took it to the shop were it was built and i asked what would cause it, and he said somebody did that first pic, and he is the only one that has taken it apart.

Has the engine had a botton end failure in the past?

looks like some hammer marks from true crankshaft.

I agree with Cow rider on the hammer marks. I wouldn't run it but thats just how i roll, I'm way to anil for my own good. When I was a kid I would have ran that without thinking twice about it. Who knows based on some of the cockamany crank mods people come up with that may even be good for some horse power  :lol: :lol: :lol:.
