Title: picked up a 500, dont know the year

i just picked up a kx 500 in pieces, will not kick over and has no paper work for next to nothing.  im wonder how to tell what year it is off the serial number

only number i see is JKAKXVEIXKA0000629, at the neck

It's a 1989
