Can anyone explain to me how the exhaust advancer,  (in the clutch cover) works?

it works this way:

when you gain rpm the kips actuator gets activated by centrifugal force ,
that way the actuator (the little arm that connects to the cylinder )
starts to pull out the rod which links the 2 powervalves together .
at idle it,s closed ,full rpm makes it stand wide open

there are a bunch of tips and tricks to it ,like keep the assembly clean of carbon,
make sure they are adjusted correct ,not overclosing  in either way

I'm kinda like you vaap, I've always wanted to either pull or add shims to that thing, just to see what happens
