where is the best place to put the timing on the k5 for the most power??? some people tell me stock is best. but im sure thiers a sweet spot. im trying to tune my for the most i can get out of it. i got to show them 450's where its at!!!

depends on what you're looking for, bottom or more over-rev, and also your riding style.
To me its a preference that suits how you like the power delivery. I like to run mine a little advanced, while I believe Stewart likes it a little retarded. Best bet is to start stock and then try at the first mark retarded, then the first mark advanced. You will know what feels better and suits you style and riding conditions.

i think the higher the compresion you run the better it works with retarding the timing and the lower compresion you run the more advance you can stand to have , that depends on the fuel your trying to run
