Hi guys thanks for the comments on my kx it took me 12 weeks to build after i found all the parts that i needed the cost well leave that to your imagination wasnt cheap most parts are NOS it goes as good as it looks well its time to move on to the next project thanks guys

look at that old supsension gold paint runs like a new 250 . wow . pissst can i ride it . oooooh please ill take it easy . :wink: that is a niceeeeeee bike . great job 8-)

Hi k5abuser you can ride it but you will need to fly to australia just bring lots of $$$$$$ . By the way thats not gold paint that works billet forks and ohlins suspension thanks

I don't know and I'm not going to say it's not a 79 but I thought the big bore bikes before 83 were 420cc.

I thought there was a KX400 in 1979.
I didn't know that there was a KX500 in 1979..
