I'm new to this site, and the one thing i notice... is that there alot of older bikes still giving it hell. It seems that there are alot of older bikes then newer on this site? So that brings me to my question... is it that there ARE alot of older bikes, or is it just that everyone has more then one... so what do YOU ride and what year?
I'll answer my own question.... 91 KX 125 at the moment (its being rebuilt). With plans to get a KX 250 shortly.... which will be older cuz i want a two stroke.

I like the comfort of older (pre 2000) bikes with wider seats, both street and dirt.
Dirt I primarily ride a 98 KX500 and a 94 KLX650R. On the street a 2000 Buell Cyclone and 94 Triumph Super III.
I also have some truly old iron (three 60's BSAs, a pair of 125 and 250 Husqvarnas, and a Can Am 250), but those are more for short rides puttering around the farm now. Don't want to wreck them.

Dirt I've got a 91 Kx125 and a 92 Kx500 with an 87 motor. On the street I ride a 95 Cbr1000F. Hopefully I'll be able to add the Kx500 to the street bike list shortly.

You have a point there Dangerous, but I think its due to price and the changes, or lack there of, through the model years. Especially on the 500's, they stayed the same for a long time, so if you are buying a used bike its about price and condition, not features of the newer models that are the selling points. (until you start talking hybrid ergos)
96 kx250, 97 kx500, 86 kdx 200 (current profile pic)
Hauling seven including Teammate's Hondas, (92 cr500, 02 cr250) and gf's 03 KTM 105, and 99 YZ 125.
They all need complete maintenance. If you go through them and keep up with bushing and bearring wear, and of course engine maintenance, they all are screamers, when they say "Kawasaki" on them. :-D
