Title: kx 500 ice race build

Hi I'm new to the site and to a kx500.
I have bought a kx 500 with the intent to race it on the ice. We run super moto style tracks, not circle track.
I curently ride a 05 kx250f on the ice, it is presently lowered about 4". Back to the 500, 
My plans are to lower it around 4" aswell. We run fredette tires which are awsome.
Looking for some tips from any others that might be dowing the same, I would supose that anyone running supermoto would have some good info aswell.
I will apreciate any help.

theres a bunch of them tarders hanging around from time to time ,

Where you ice race at? I've been toying with the idea to race my 500 on the ice, I'm up in Minnesota.
