One of our local dirt riders did a stunt jump yesterday. Eddie Wearden made a jump yesterday from El Paso to Juarez Mexico across the Rio Grande river. I am told that it is a Guiness record, however that is unconfirmed as yet. I have only met Eddie a few times in some local bike shops. The really cool thing is that Eddie made the jump on his 50th birthday!
I cant find anything on the web about this jump. I only read about in the paper this morning. If anyone finds anything more on the web, pleas post a link!

Thats cool.... i'll be doing that when i get to 50 to... maybe i'll jump from Canada To the U.S.... though it should be a pretty simple jump! hee hee
But the thing that gets me... its a world Record jump? We've seen guys jump farther!.... maybe most of us have done that distance to. Didn't look too far... whats the distance on that?
