Title: 2000 KX 250 Frame, What years of frames are the same?

I have a 2000 KX 250 and I have bent/cracked the frame.  What year frames can I replace it with?  After looking online I see two conflicting statements.  One states that the years between 1997 and 2000 have the same frame; and others state that the years between 1999 and 2002 are the same.  Does anyone have an idea of what year frame will fit my ride?

Also any suggestions on what to look for (damage, wear, etc) when looking for a used frame? and where to purchase?

125 frame wont work, the cradle is different. 99-2002 KX250 will work.

I have a 2000 KX 125, stll looking to convert my 2001 kx 500, i know I can go with the KX 450f/250F with heavy mods. Go with a 2000 and up 250 2T with less mods 2001 cr 250 very few mods. my question is this is the 2000 KX 125 frame the same as a 2000 kx 250 frame?

Most of the Geometry is the same (rake,trail,etc) but the cradle for the motor is totally different. If you look at a 250, the downtube from the steering head is at less of an angle as the bottomend is quite a bit larger than a 125.

thanks gold...was thinkin about a 125/500 conversion since i have the 125
