I run a 47 rear. A rough guesstimate is every front tooth equals approximately 3 rear teeth.

Rather than talking just to hear yourself talk, I would use the search function as described to you in your very first communication with this web site. This topic has been talked to death over and over again. If I were you I would delete this post before Danger4U2 sees it and chews you another brand new hole! There is no need to reply just to get the last word. I will not re-engage.

You don't even have to use the search, it's in the how to's on the right side of the home page.
This should help.

for alot of people, the ratios are like talkin greek....you can try a 15 tooth counter sprocket. i have a 13,14, and 15 counter sprocket/ with a 45, and 50 rear. my 50 rear just collects dust, w/a 45 on the rear, i can just switch counter sprockets for where i'm goin, 13/45 works good for me in tight single track, but 15/45 is nice in wide open desert.
