Title: Gidday from NZ
Post by: pickledkiwi on June 02, 2009, 09:26:09 PM
Hi guys. My name is Peter and I'm from the south of the South Island of New Zealand. I've got a road legal 1979 TT500G in the garage and the wifes got a 1984 XL250S. They don't get much use as we're usually too busy Grass Karting. My kart's powered by a 1999 KX250, the wifes is a 1992 KX250 and my oldest boys kart has a 1994 KX250. Needless to say, I spend a fair bit of time up to my elbows in dirt and grease fixing bikes and karts. I've learnt a fair bit about the KX's over the last couple of years but judging by some of the content on KX Riders forum, there's a fair bit more yet to learn!
Keep up the excellent forum guys. I look forward expanding my knowledge and perhaps even helping-out someone else. Cheers, PickledKiwi

Oh, by the way, I distill my own alcohol if you were wondering about the user id. :-D

Hello KX
I brew spirits. Comes off the still at 75 to 80% pure alcohol. Cut it back to 40% and I don't remember much after that! Have thought about running a kart on the brew but race fuel is cheaper.

Cheers, Peter
