Title: KX 250 Frame Changes

A question which might have been answered..,.in what year(s) did kawasaki change the perimiter frame 250, from what my local Kawasaki shop says...( I dont trust them at all ) 1995 thru 2002 frames are all the same. Amyone know? Just the frame

Kawasaki introduced the Perimeter frame in 1990 on the KX250. The 90/91 same basic frame, 92&93 same, 94 thru 98 same, 1999 thru 2002 same, 2003&2004 same basis, 2005 to current. Hope this answers your question.

it does gold thank you, one more question is the 2000 125 frame the same as a 2000 250 frame?

Same geometry, but is different as far as motor mounts, etc. Most bolt on items will interchange (triple trees, shock, forks, hubs, etc). Again, hope this answers your question.
