Title: 1986 kx 500
Post by: ktm250f74 on May 19, 2009, 10:55:28 AM
The 86 KX500 doesn't have a KIPS valve does it? Would this make the bike slow and not feel like it had the same kick at the powerband?

i believe the 86 has the side drums, just not the top flapper.
If it feels sluggish on bottom, check to be sure the power valves are working and not gummed up.
