Title: Another update on the '89 KX250
Post by: keithluneau on May 12, 2009, 02:45:40 AM
This is going to be my last update for a little while... I'm pretty much finished with the bike now, and I just started another project. (1986 XR600R, don't ban me, I ride Hondas too!  :-D)

I've got all the graphics on it now, new kill switch, everything adjusted and dialed in, with the exception of it being rich on the bottom end. I fouled another plug putting along with my buddy the other day. I've got new reeds to put in it, if that doesn't help I'm going through the carb when I feel like it.

Anyway, on to the pictures!

Thanks for everyone's help! It was a long and frustrating road, but in the end I got a nice bike out of the deal.  8-)

Thanks! They are Factory Effex Evo 5 graphics from Dennis Kirk. I like these because they cover up the whole shroud, and most of my ugly gas tank!  :-D They are actually sold for the KX500, but the '89 250 uses the same shrouds and tank, so they fit just fine.
