Title: V-Force II question.
Post by: Uzi9mm on April 26, 2009, 03:30:15 AM
I bought my 500 with a Rad Valve.  And no spare parts.  Does the V-force require anything special to fit?  Mods? Stock intake?

No special fit but it does require the stock intake boot and clamp. It just replaces the stock reed cage.

You have to cut the ears that protrude into the reed cage off of the stock boot.

Sorry , Thanks Jfab its been so long since I put mine on I forgot about that , If you want bottom end stick with your Radvalve but for power everywhere else go with V-Force.

The v-force hase great power from bottom to top. I  not only cut the ears off but then I match the round hole to the square hole on the V-force. This is a picture of a junk rubber boot that I practiced on before I did it to a good one.
