My name's Dave and I have a low hour 91 KX500, I have been riding dirt bikes since I was 5 years old and have rode for approximately 35 seasons since then, give or take one or two.
I almost gave up riding a few years ago but then my son, at the time who was six, showed an interest in bikes, we've been riding together ever since, that was just five years ago. This year my son and I plan to do a few Harescrambles, it should be a lot of fun.
About a week ago I stumbled onto this site and started reading up on the things that can be achieved through ingenuity and necessity. I?ve been reading about some of the modifications and there are some very talented and imaginative people here.
Anyway, thanks for letting me be a member on this site, I hope I?m able to contribute with some good ideas, projects and possibly adventures in the future.

i have a 91 too ,its a good breed.
does your son ,in the mean time ,grown up enough to ride the k5 :wink:
