Title: KIPS drum wear
Post by: martinfan30 on March 11, 2009, 08:58:09 AM
I just noticed this wear on the right side drum, and on its mating surface on the case. Is this trouble?
Again, I apologize for the crappy camera..

Thats a strange place for wear but yes I think you are going to have to fix that.  Those might be inserts thay you can buy or have made. If not you could weld and redrill but much easier to drill the hole larger and get oversize brass bushing made. Stewart and the others will have a better idea. I have only had one apart whereas he has had hundreds apart. Cam.

just replace the bushings in the cylinder.
