I am looking for everyones tips on how to survive riding with glasses. It would be nice to know what has worked for everyone here. Getting old sucks and I know what the outcome of my optomitrist appointment this morning is going to be. My last couple of rides I was riding like a zipperhead and went off the trail a number of times due to (poor vision??). I would have gone home and sulked but I was riding out of town and had to stick it out. Can a guy ride with contacts or is that a no no? I finally picked up some super mega-buck goggles but I think I will be needing to put some vision correction under them. Sucks to be me (no it doesn't). Cam.

I've been ridding with glasses for years. I use quick straps, they work great and with any goggle. I also use the goggles that have the extra foam height, specific for use over glasses.

I have a close up vision problem. I must have glasses to do any kind of work on my bike. I have a set on my dash in the truck, a set in the glove box incase I loose the set on the dash. A third set in my shirt or coat pocket when I ride incase something happens on the trail.

I have always ridden with glasses. I have no special issues with this, except when riding in rain, then the goggle seems to fog some.
I use the quick straps on my goggles and recommend them to everyone. I also wear a helmet when I ski, I am probably the only guy in the world to use quick straps on my ski helemt and goggles. My ski goggles are equipped with a fan to eliminate the fogging, I have an extra goggle with fan but have not tried it on the dirt bike yet.

Snow skiing, motocross without the bike. I've been about 6 times, Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico.
