Title: While I'm at the welders
Post by: gwcrim on February 04, 2009, 12:03:25 PM
I found a guy nearby me that welds aluminum.  I'm taking the 2002 chassis there tomorrow.  My list of things to do:

1- mounts for pipe
2- mounts for silencer
3- move radiator mounts forward by 6mm

What else might I need done while the bike is there?

I used the stock mounts, but opted for a custom pipe and silencer.

I moved both side radiator mounts and unknown amount, I also had to relocate my coil bracket. I cut the coil holder off of the 500 and welded it into the factory location on the 250 frame. Other then that, the only other welding i did was engine mount related.
