so i bought new plates disks and springs and i put it in the bike and when i start the bike i put it in gear and the back wheel wont move at all even when i rev it up i could use some help :?
-
Do you have a bit of slack in cable? Is the clutch arm moving, when you pull the lever? Its permanently in neutral? Give some more detail.
-
Did you put it into gear :-D
-
i have tryed it in all five gears everything mves like it should and i just replaced the whole transmistion ans it goes into gear fine and i have a brand new cable too and it is the right size
-
If you motor is not running and you put it in gear.
Can you feel it locking into his gears????
Could it be that the gear on the crank came loose, and there for it doesn't
turn the rest of the engine??
Rear Chain???? Sound stupid mabey.

Disconnect cable from engine. Does it roll while in gear? That would tell you if its inside or out. Possibly need to add slack with new cable in the cable adjustment.

Like Hill #42 said.
With the clutch cable disconnected you should still be able to rock the bike back and forth and get her to shift through the gears. Don't hammer on the shifter. A little tug in either direction will get it to shift as the gears move.
There should be at least about the thickness of a nickle slack between the lever and the perch when you start to feel the slack taken out of the cable and disengage the clutch.
.
If that doesn't help...start working backwards... through clutch, and unfortunately back through to the tranny.

i disconected the cable from the clutch and put it in gear and it was working like it should when the clutch is disengaged then it also worked when i engaged the clutch so its just the cable then
