Hello Gentlemen - been trying to rebuild an 87 KX 500 and I am having a heck of time trying to locate the upper and lower swingarm chain sliders. Both BikeBandit and Babbit's OEM are out of stock and my multi hour web surfing has turned up nada. Does anyone have any leads or know of a comparable replacement? I would greatly appreciate it.

Well, this isn't good. I'm in the same boat and Bike B says not available or something. First search not. Might try to make some from a cutting board. Something is better than nothing

I'm pretty sure this has been asked in the past, and I posted these...
I would contact this guy...see if he'll provide you with some pics of the actual sliders you'll receive, and maybe even some measurements of the bolt-hole locations, just to be sure they'll fit correctly...

Owning an 87 250, I've been watching these for a long while but have never dealt with them . He sells a few and the buyer feedback is good on these and most of his other items. These are reproductions but only 9 negative feedbacks in 12 months. Mine are getting thin and will likely be buying a set by the end of this season.

Well I'll see what owner say, like any project already over budget :-D
This has been an interesting project though 8-)

BTW Thanks for the link !!.
