Has anyone tried this tire? I'm interested in using it for sand/mud and maybe a dune trip. It seems agressive and Dirt Bike gave it a good review. I'm sure a paddle tire would be a better dune tire, but I don't think it offers the same versatility for non-dune riding. Comments.

I love quoting myself, but does anyone know? I'll be purchasing one of these soon.

The M5B is a great tire for soft terrain but I found it skitterish on hard stuff. Tire is also heavy but lasts better than anything. It has really tall knobs and in sand and loose stuff it could be the next best thing to a paddle tire. For general riding it's excellent but for racing I prefered the quicker handling of the millvilles. I put the Maxxis SM on my wifes bike. It looks really nice and seems to wear well. I haven't got a chance to really test the tire but friends that use them like them. In terms of comparison, the M5B is absolute king in deep, soft stuff but the others are better on harder terrain or for MX racing. Hope this helps. Cam.
