Title: Preping a bike for racing and riding.
Post by: Rick on October 10, 2003, 10:09:09 AM
Race preping just doesn't happen, it takes a well thought out process.  In all the years of racing, I have only DNF'd (did not finish) one time for mechanical problems, and that was the loss of a wet side seal in a Nevada National.

To help in the race prep process, I developed the attached race prep checklist (hopefully I attached the MSWord document properly) .  This list is also good to use before your first ride on a new bike, and at least once a year on a trail bike.

Let me know if you have any quetions.

Happy wrenching...

Rick
