Title: 1991 KX250, will 2003 plastics fit???
Post by: Pistup on August 03, 2008, 07:58:47 AM
Hi

I'm currently messing around fixing up a 1991 KX250. Question is as the title says, how easy is it going to be fitting 2003 plastics?

The main problem I forsee is the rad shrouds around the tank, I know I can get hold of a 1994 tank which looks like it will be easier to fit the 03 plastics around but will this fit to the 91 frame and seat easy enough?

I got told that if it can be done, someone on here will have already done it!! So any advice will be greatly appreciated!!

Cheers

Does the 91 have a perimeter frame?  I don't think the tank will work.

You would be better off just finding the correct plastics.

Only plastic that will work is front fender. You can make just about any front fender work.

I have a 93 kx250 that I am looking for plastics for, mostly the front and side number plates in green. If yours won't work, let me know!!
