Title: Toy Hauler Rental

I have been looking for a Toy Hauler to rent for a six week trip this fall. You would think in this economy people would be falling all over themselves to rent what they can't sell. But the only places I can find are in California an AZ and I am in West Texas. So I would have to drive 400 miles to pick one up. Does any have a better idea? :? :?

Alan, I don't know if this will help, but my friend who races Wera supersport has a toy hauler and he told me it was cheaper to buy it on his own than to rent around here. Here you can get a decent one for 20-30 grand vs. pay $1500+ per week. But then again, he races almost every weekend for the racing season. But, if you plan on going on trips a few times a year, it is definately worth shelling out vs. renting.

I actually rented a 27' toy hauler for $1245 per month! The only down side is I have drive 350 miles to pick it up.
