it is supposed to be a 92 but how do i verify this?
The suspension is supposed to rebuilt by race tech.
it has a reed spacer and boysen bowl on the carb.
full FMF exhaust
the forks, swingarm, and rest of the aluminum is polished
frame is powder coated
excell wheels
should be fun

Frame and Engine numbers tell you the year of each. Looks pretty sweet for a 92. There's really not much that changed through the years, so its no biggie anyway. 92 engine numbers would be KX500BE13001--------(something). My manual says 91-93 has same engine numbers. '92 is a kx500-E4.

Looks to me like it has an old KX250 tank on it... like doordie's. Nice bike fo sho! I went to Kawasaki.com and somewhere under owner information, maybe having to do with looking up warranty info (if I remember correctly) there is a place to enter the VIN and it tells you what year the bike was and when the factory warranty ran out.

Im pretty sure that the 91 and 92s had blue anodized upper fork legs. 90 didnt. The fork guards look like the ones that were on my 90 KX250. Looks like a 89 KX250 tank.

the engine numbers are kx500b*****
the frame has been poweder coated and the numbers are hard to see. I will check them tomorrow.

Check all of your pipe mounts, especially the uppermost one; it's probably broken.
