I picked up a front end from a friend for free! Problem is, I'm not sure what it's from.
Inverted forks, blue anodized, air bleeders on caps.
Let me know if there is something else to look at in order to identify what I have.
Thanks in advance!

I think blue is from 1990 to 1993. My 92 was blue. Cam.

Thanks Cam!
Now I'll check out fork seals to see which years a seal covers.
Cheers!

Blue tubes were from '91 - '93. You'll need 41mm seals which were from '90 - '95. :-D

No they're 43mm. 90-91's are 41mm's 92-96 43mm, 97+ 46mm. That matches the changes in the triple trees. Blue anodizing is 92-93.
I was out with the micrometer measuring that stuff last night since I picked up a pair of 92's for practically free to throw onto my 89 250.

Yep, I thought about it later on! I came back to fix my post and it was already mentioned. '91 had blue tubes aswell, though. Measurements at least for a 250 through '02 are '90-41mm, '91-'95-43mm (regardless of color) '96-'01-46mm and '02 was 48mm. I THINK the 500 was the same, except it had 43mm '91 - '96 and ran 46mm from '97 - '04. 500's never had 48mm. Triple trees changed in '92 on 125/250's because of a different steering stem and bearing change. 500's still ran the pre '91 bearings through '04. 8-) :-D
