broke my left shin bone on the handlebar crossbar of my 1980 xl500 when i was 13 and my other leg was tangled in the forks which where bent back so far that the front wheel was against the bottom of the motor. the bike was very unridable at that point. stayed in a cast, then a soft cast for six months. also had a half dozen concusions so far. havent crashed big for a long while so i am due for some pain oh well i'm willing to pay the price.

I tore my shoulder off my color bone racing bmx, complet a/c sep. I broke my right ankle over jumping a 70 footer and landing flat gound, never crashed. I fell out of the back of my buddies golf cart when he was driving like a bone head, hit my head on the asphalt at 20 mph and was unconscious for six hours and had seven fractures to the skull, wasn't even drunk yet. I got ran over from behind by a car on my 24 speed, fractured my orbital socket and temple, that was my third time loosing to a car on a bicycle then I went to jail for cussing at the police in the hospital. I fell off the monkey bars in grade school hit my head on concrete fractured skull and had a tube in my head for the swelling. I have had countless stiches road rash and bruises. Growing up I was always the first to try anything from jumping cars on my Bicycle to riding off the house if you could do it I would try it no matter how high or how far it was I wanted to go bigger. My dad called me awful kinoful when I was a kid becaus my idol was Evel knievel. I'm 34 and I wake up in pain every day. :-D

i went riding in az at speedway moto park me and my roomate where about to leave so i asked him if he wanted to do a few more laps. well about the 2nd lap he overshot this jump and landed in the flat spot. bike poggoed him in the air and he landed on his collarbone. so they had to airlift him out to the hospital. altogether it cost him $20,000. and i was the one who suggested the extra laps oops haha. he was a retard anyways

I've broke numerous fingers while riding by catching vine and small trees with the bars and the lever coming back into them, then I discovered bark busters!!! I destroyed a knee while trail riding. Tore the ACL completely apart have a plate 5 screws, bone glue and coral in there now also had a tibial plateu fracture in same leg same accident. Strong as ever and don't even show signs it was hurt. Good surgeon. did that one by catching a toe in mud and my foot rotated outward and my heel hit the back of my thigh.

Dislocated leg in a street bike crash. Hip bone was basically where the top of my back pocket was. Broke my wrist last year in a hillclimb. 2.3 seconds on 120-130 ft hill. I set fast time on that hill but it wasn't pretty. K5 launched 20 ft before the lights and we flew 20 ft past the top of hill before landing in the weeds in the dark. When I finally quit seeing stars, I was glad that the only thing that hurt was my wrist. It still hurts...
I usually witness a few each year and that keeps me in check.

ive broken my share of bones on a dirt bike both wrists at different times jaw shoulder blade and cracked my skull open some kid put some plastic sheeting on the back side of a jump i guess he was jealous he didnt have a bike to ride or something then i flipped big time doing a 5th gear wheelie on a rm 250 and had to have my left kidney re attached and the biggest scab in the world on my neck back and the back of my legs. but no crashs on the 500 yet haha!!

Collar bone shattered in two flipping end over end out of shape over a double on my kx 250.
Two ribs over the bars on a step down. A couple fingers a toes from banging bars.
Ripped off some toe nails from stubbing mt foot in my boots.
Multiple sprains a deep bruisings from getting off in fifth gear.
The hospital knows me by name.

Fingers and toes count? Plenty of times I've had really messed up fingers before my Bark busters. On my first dirt drag with the k5 I flipped it in practice run. The dirt was shiny from packing it so hard. Everyone was just dumping the clutch and spinning. No hook-up apparently. I got ready, staged, pinned it, dumped clutch fractions before I saw the light change and WHAM, I was on my back. I thought that I flipped it right out of the hole, but when I gathered myself, I realized that it took probably 50ft to be upside down. The bars landed on my toes on the right foot and broke them all.
I had to race my 250 against nitrous injected quads and got spanked. It was outlaw drags with no classes. It was supposed to be just for fun, but was pretty costly. Wasted my silencer, sub-frame, and fender. (and 5 toes) :-(

i have broke both collar bones had a nasty scull fracture, riped a femur out of the socket braking my hip. 2 separate fractured disks. broke all of my ribs, shattered both ankles and wrists several times. riped a 3x2" hole out of my leg. hyper extended one knee. had my finger go through a chain and sprocket. had a table fork go all the way through my hand. broken legs and arms. landed on a sand rail from 40 foot and got the bars in the gut with lots of internal bleeding the hospital told me 1" up or down i would have died. shattered a bell helmet off my head and was unconscious for over 1 hour. broke the back of my heal off. and some things i cant remember. you got to pay to play!

d**n man... y'all are either some serious squids... or have no concept of what your riding skillz truly are.
The only bone that's ever been broken on a motorcycle was when I was 17 on my street bike coming home from highschool. Some a$$hole made an illegal left-hand turn trying to enter into a gas station and T-Bone'd me near the corner of Carson Blvd. and Figueroa Blvd right across the street from Harbor General UCLA Medical Center.
It was the MetaTarsal bone of my "ring" toe. It would set... they had to put a pin in it for awhile, then take it back out later.
Broke collarbone twice on huge Mountain bike jumps. 1st one... the front-tire burst on the ladningns from the repeated attempts that day. 2nd one, I bailed off the to side on a landing jump so I wouldn't loop backwards... the Ortho Dr. and I figured I must not have healed properly from the 1st break. I wore a bone-growth stimulator for a lil bit and that seemed to do the trick. Collar bones can be tricky lil things.
Um... cracked a finger bone once up in the Santa Barbara "Mission Trail" on Downhill MtnBike. Was frustrated with the slowness of a member of the riding group in front of me... it was an extremely rocky and extremely steep section... I pulled out around him.. hammered through some insane rocks "BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!... passed him... then there were two large railroad ties embedded into the trail horizontally to prevent erosion... the trail was very steep... I was leaned all the way back as I could... managed to roll over the edge of the 1st one... couldn't quite roll-over the edge of the 2nd one she wanted to tip over and I went over the bars... the lever getting crunched back into my finger upon hitting the ground is what did it.
Thee most painful dirt bike inujury I've ever had... I went over the bars on this modestly whooped section... at first landed on shoulders with body still up in the air... and the landing ended in a sort of whipping action that horrible body slammed by tail-bone area into the hard-pack dirt. Still in shock... I gingerly pushed the bike home approximately 9-12 blocks. My whole lower back went black/purple with bruising in 30 minutes. I've never been quite the same in that area ever since. THAT... was the meaning of PAIN!!! Broken bones DO NOT hurt like the way THAT does. Major soft-tissue trauma... and like all these muscles and ligaments all come together on/over your coccyx too.
The crazy thing is that there really are no good protection products available to gaurd that area the way it truly deserves to be guarded. :-(

Collar bone and 2 ribs. 03/06/2009

i broke both ankle on a dirt bike when i was a kid(im not going to say i was running from the cops) then a month ago i did not show enought respect for my k5 and it cast me a seperated shoulder(its about 75% healed).
i broke my knee cap(yes the cap) on the handlebars of an old yamahaaaaaa dirtbike(came to a suden stop)
i broke both wrist when a rope swing broke(fell about 30'into a dry creek gullie)
i blew the tips of my first and second fingers off on my right hand(dont play with fireworks)
and many a fingers and knuckles in my ruff and tumble days 8-)

WOW that is some pretty crazy stories i was the guy that never broke anything no matter what i did
i did have the nick name off hobalong or crutch because i was always limping or on crutches when i was younger from crasing my dirt bikes (most on the street) had a couple concussions from falling off things like an over pass my dads balconey couple hurt wrists from skate boarding (my right thum is still bad after 10 years) and my worst was going of a jump on my 250 tottally of balance came down front tire first like a jet plane lots of dust and noise and ooouccch shoulder hurt (ac separation) bone standing straight up in shoulder. had to ride one handed back 10 miles in the dark not a happy day but you play you will pay. its all good :-D :-D

Not too many for me riding. One big 80mph over the bars crash: left collarbone, nose, separated shoulder, bruised kidney. Greenstick tibia fracture trying to kick start 400 maico with loafers on. Mid-air colision in the Kingdome got me a broken hand (I was racing with the greentsick tibia taped up and a huge borrowed boot on), and getiing cocky on a triple jump (did 2-3/4) got me a right broken collarbone and partial A/C separation. The funny thing is that they all still hurt. Getting old sucks. Cam.
