Title: exhaust leak

Hey guys i have a couple questions first off my pipe that goes to the motor leaks and rattles how can i fix it???? should i get new spring or stronger ones??? and second is the trans and the motor seperate whithin the crankcase?? any info would be great!!!!!

You have to use that stock copper seal to avoid leak and rattle.Second question I don?t understand.... :? A twostroke are always separate crankcase and transmisson...  :wink:

cool thanks man i appreciate it and i should prolly get one of those copper seals, the rattle is very annoying!!!!

those copper seals are very important i found some from forign car exhast that work very well

stewert where are they from and for what vehicle??? the bike shop i go to is expensive. and people say to use type f ATF for the trans i got some and am gonna try it out..

it was like a nissan or honda car  i think ...  i use moter oil  in my trans  works the best

what type of motor oil?
The copper rings from a car is a cool idea.

I used a lot of high temp Permatex sealer on a KX250. And FMF o-ring and spring kit for KX500/250.
Someone once mentioned using a type of auto header fiberglass seal.

i run 30 wieght non synthitic  valveline  type oil
