Post by: Wizzy214 on January 18, 2008, 02:44:12 PM
is this normal or is it time for a new cable? no quick response when twisting throttle.  also when twisting throttle slow you can hear the spring making noise? idk?

My vision is getting bad, having trouble focusing, the steel braided brake line looks OK to me.

On your camera there is a setting called "macro" which is usually indicated with a flower symbol.  Will help a TON when taking those type of pictures,  even if you aren't super close.

As far as the cable?  For new it looks broken,  usually you can "thread" the exposed inner metal spiral housing back into the threaded end cap that goes into the throttle mount.  Kinda hard to tell since my vision is so bad.
